I’ve finally summoned the courage to remove the default text from this page and identify myself. My name is Cristian Ivascu and I am a software engineer.

My passions lie with computers, mostly software, programming languages, software architecture and developing the next generation of the web.  At this point I work mostly in Java and ActionScript 3, and am starting to look into Erlang. Other areas I have touched until now comprise xml, xslt, php, asp, mysql, javascript, visual basic, c/c++ and a little bit of Ruby.
